Why “Team Talk”?
With the Casual Dining market as explosive as it is, only the leanest and most innovative will thrive in the increasingly crowded market. In the years I’ve been working in what must be one of the most electrifying industries in the UK, I’ve always been surprised at the lengths some owners will go to, to complicate what is essentially a simple formulae.
Surely after all, we’re trying to deliver great food, great drinks, appropriately priced with a great team alongside a genuine desire to be hospitable?
I have been engaged in over fifty restaurant/bar openings over the last twenty-five years, throughout the UK, in both branded chains such as Café Rouge and privately owned businesses. I have also worked at the “coal face” as a Senior General Manager, Training Manager and Area Manager for some of the most aggressive London operators, so therefore feel uniquely qualified to support business owners with in-depth knowledge and experience alongside my trademark passion and energy.
I pride myself on putting communication and collaboration at the heart of the day to day running of all the hospitality businesses I have ever been involved in.
What problems can’t be solved, challenges overcome and teams developed with an honest, open conversation at the heart of it?
Whether you’re a start-up or a firmly established business, if you’re looking for a “hands on” collaborative approach to tackle an opening, venue profitability, guest service initiatives or team development at any level, just get in touch for an initial chat.
After all, it’s good to talk…
Workshops
Creative, energetic and empowering development workshops over one or two days to small groups can really improve guest service.
